I was born and raised in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in a loving middle-class family. My father was a businessman and my mother was a homemaker. Although I grew up as an only child, my cousins became like siblings to me, filling the void and offering companionship.
From a young age, I developed a passion for technology. Inspired by my maternal uncle and cousins, who were also tech enthusiasts, I eagerly pursued my fascination with computers. As I delved deeper into the world of technology, I discovered my innate desire to share my knowledge and support those around me. It brought me immense satisfaction, unintentionally paving the way for my journey as a technology evangelist.
One of my core beliefs is that everything we experience is unique to us as individuals. With this perspective, I strive to unleash the greatness in people, offering help and support to those I encounter. I am grateful to have been raised in a family that supported my choices and nurtured my interests. At the age of twenty, I ventured to the United Kingdom to pursue a bachelor's degree in Computing at the University of Portsmouth. Later, I pursued a master's degree in Information Systems and Technology at City University, London. Moving to a new country was a significant milestone, and despite being away from home for the first time, daily video calls with my parents helped ease any homesickness while sharing my experiences in the new city.
Beginning my career as a software consultant, I always emphasized how technology can better serve people. Putting people at the forefront of my work has been my guiding principle, striving to create a better world and a better tomorrow. I have a customer obsession, always striving to exceed their expectations and provide exceptional experiences. I am committed to creating value that not only meets customer needs but also generates the highest return on investment for them."
As a coach and consultant, I want to uncover opportunities for everyone I interact with, regardless of their background or circumstances. I have had the privilege of working with organizations of all sizes, across various industries and sectors. Looking back, I am grateful for the opportunities that life has presented during my adulthood in the UK. I am a proud father, husband, and son, blessed with a loving family.
